STRATEGI KOMUNIKASI HUMAS KEMENTERIAN PUPR DALAM MENJAGA KEARIFAN LOKAL UNTUK PEMBANGUNANÂ BERKELANJUTAN

Abstract

This study examines the communication strategies implemented by the Public Relations Division of the Ministry of Public Works and Housing (PUPR) in order to preserve local wisdom throughout the sustainable development process in Indonesia. Utilizing a qualitative approach through case study methods, this research reveals how the Ministry of PUPR integrates local wisdom values into infrastructure development activities. The findings indicate that the Public Relations Division of the Ministry of PUPR has implemented a series of effective communication strategies involving socialization, education, and active community participation in every stage of development. This involvement not only enhances community understanding and support for infrastructure projects but also ensures the preservation of local cultural values. This study provides insights into the importance of synergy between infrastructure development and the preservation of local wisdom through inclusive and participatory communication strategies, which can serve as a model for other government agencies in implementing sustainable development
