Analisis Pengendalian Banjir Di Saluran Sekunder Irigasi Perot 2 Di Desa Kosambi Kecamatan Cipunagara Kabupaten Subang

Flood is one of the natural disasters that often occurs in areas close to river bodies or close to irrigation, where the condition of the river/irrigation overflows because the flowing water has exceeded the carrying capacity of the channel. This study aims to determine how the efforts in handling flooding at the research location. This study contains the planning of irrigation channels which starts from the calculation of the mainstay discharge from the cropping pattern around the irrigation flow area, the existing channel discharge and the planned channel discharge which will be compared to determine the difference in discharge that occurs. So this research is a solution to the problem of flooding at the research site. The implementation of flood control is expected to increase the cross-sectional capacity of irrigation secondary channels so that they are able to drain water discharge when the rainy season arrives.
