Perbandingan Hasil Perhitungan Volume Cut And Fill Menggunakan Metode Kontur dan Digital Elevation Model (DEM) Pada Pembangunan Kawasan Subang Smartpolitan

Subang Smartpolitan is an industrial development that optimizes space utilization and accelerates regional industrial growth, strengthening industrial competitiveness, and contributing to the Indonesian economy, particularly in Subang Regency. The overall project covers an area of ??2.700 ha, with a zone 10 area of ??approximately 300.000 m2. This research focused on calculating excavation and embankment volumes using original ground surface elevation data and planned ground surface elevation data using the contour method and a Digital Elevation Model (DEM). The comparison showed that the difference between the original volume calculated using the contour method and the cut volume (excavation) was 1.385,11 m³ (0,12%), and the difference between the calculated fill volume (embankment) was 4.754,91 m³ (1,16%). Meanwhile, the DEM method yielded a difference of 21.240,52 m³ (2%) in the calculated cut (excavation) volume, and 5.803,27 m³ (1,43%) in the calculated fill (embankment) volume. Therefore, it can be concluded that the contour method yields a smaller difference in the original volume compared to the DEM method.
